So I basically abandoned this place years ago, in 2006. I was 15 years old. Most of what I have on here is so old it's embarrassing to me, from the deviations to my interests. Today, four years later and as a sophomore in college, I came back to check on things for no particular reason. And I see that I have hundreds of notifications.
Yeah, that's what I've amassed over years, but these are years without posting anything. And some of the comments totally baffle me - people quoting things in school? Coming back years later because they remembered they liked something? Even asking me to put things on youtube so they can show other people!
Pretty ridiculous confidence boost/taste of internet fame, even though it's over equally ridiculous animations.
I can't explain how confused I was to find all this. Everything I made was basically meant to make absolutely no sense, sometimes based on what friends asked me, sometimes I opened flash and something bizarre happened. I just liked making weird voices and things that made me laugh.
I'm not sure how many people will see this at this point, but if you've ever watched anything/commented, thank you! Even though it was beyond unexpected, it makes me feel good to know that people enjoy what my 15-year-old self made on weekends. I'm just so happy to know that there are people out there who had their day strangely brightened by things I made. It's doing the same for me now.
I never really finished anything after 2006 and then stopped using flash all together (I never really used it right anyway, haha). So I don't think I'm going to be making any more like those old ones, but! I want to get back into art in general with my new tastes, though humor/comics/animation is something I always gravitate towards. As of now I don't have a functional da account, but I'll check back here every now and again.
So, thank you to everybody who commented over the years, and I'm so glad all this was enjoyed. There's too many people to reply to individually, so I hope this covers it all. ♥
(I still do have a very strong liking for Kinoc though...)
